Booking Conditions

  1. Deposit of 25% for all bookings.
  2. The balance to be paid four weeks before the walk.
  3. All money for advanced booking will be safeguarded.
  4. Payments to be made by cheque, international money orders, cash or IBAN transfers. Note: we do not operate a credit card account.
  5. Cancellations of a booking must be made in writing. Refunds of balances will be made according to this schedule:
    More than 30 days 100% of balance returned
    30 to 7 days 50% of balance returned
    Less than 7 days 25% of balance returned
  6. If a walk has to be cancelled by us for any reason, we will try to offer an alternative date, failing which we will refund the full amount.
  7. If, in the opinion of the walks leader, a client is inadequately prepared, the leader can withdraw the responsibility of leadership.
  8. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that any personal medical conditions are referred to the leader prior to the walk.
  9. The client must ensure they have with them any personal medication which may be required on the walk.
  10. It is the responsibility of clients to ensure they are at the designated meeting point at the agreed time.
  11. On the walk clients must abide by the decisions of the leader with regard to safety and rights of way.
  12. We do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to property.
  13. The leader of the walk reserves the right to change the route at any time if he feels the weather or other circumstances may make it unsafe to continue on the original planned route.
  14. We shall not be liable for any damages caused by the total or partial failure to carry out the contract if such failure is attributable to the client, is unforeseen or unavoidable and attributable to a third party, or as a result of unusual and unforeseen circumstances and beyond our control.
  15. It is the responsibility of clients to ensure adequate holiday insurance.
